Take A Walk

Or a run or a ride. Anything. You’ll feel better for it. I know I do. I am starting to get normalcy back into my life and thank goodness for that!

I spent Saturday in the comfort of my music room with my guitar and drum kit. I love it. It is my safe house. It was pretty damn tempting to drag a couple of blankets down there and stay there. On Sunday, my house was full of kids for my sister’s birthday, which didn’t stope from making sure I got more than enough exercise. I have figured out a pretty decent routine for the week which I’m happy about and even managed to work out what to do on Friday. I’m not letting gigs get in the way of me being able to kick some serious arse.

The gig I am talking about is Ross Wilson at the Williamstown Rsl and I’m pretty keen to go – for a few reasons.

1. The last time I saw Ross with band was before a lot of things happened. Before I got my license, before I had blonde hair, before I lost the remaining parts of my sanity, before I became a bass player and a drummer. Before, well, you get the picture.

2. It will be good to catch up with some friends of mine who are going and see how everyone is.

3. The music. Who knows, I might learn something. It can’t hurt, can it? Hey, why don’t you get down there too? It’ll be fun.

In other news, I’m listening to Green Day again and just over four months till Bruce. I can’t wait.
